Guests and staff. Roof top bar was very
active with visitors from around the world.
Room was too ultra modern for me.
Pedestal bed sat on was inconvenient,
trip hazard. See thru shower offered
little privacy. No couch or soft chair to
watch TV... Which Pay per View was

"The hallway smelled, my room had painting peeling off and one burn mark on the wall. Under my bed was cords rolled up and hanging out i know because i tripped on it. I wouldn't stay here again."

"My fiance and I visited LA for my 30th birthday and couldn't be more satisfied! The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival which was earlier than the hotels check in time, we were accommodated with a room as well as an upgrade to our room size as a courtesy of the hotel. Let me tell you; This hotel was by far the nicest hotel I've stayed in. From the outside area, to the lounge inside, all the way to the rooftop bar/pool area. We were very pleased with our stay, we loved idea of going upstairs from our room to party and even take a midnight swim in the heated pool if we so pleased. I have recommended this hotel to everyone I know and there is no doubt in my mind that they will be just as please we were! Two thumbs up.."

"Not a kid friendly hotel. Chose it for it's swimming pool. However, the hotel caters to 21 partiers. My 8 year old was not allowed into the pool area! All she wanted to do was swim, and we were turned away on a beautiful afternoon. So I paid extra for nothing. Also found hairs in the towels several times. That were not mine. Gross."

"I am absolutely shocked at how horrible this experience was. I checked into the Standard Hotel Downtown on New Years Eve because I wanted to go to the rooftop bar. My itinerary clearly says that I would get free VIP access to the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar was the MAIN REASON WE ALL WANTED TO GO THERE!!!! Once I arrived, the Standard staff said that I would not get access and it would cost $50 per person to get up there. When I showed them my itinerary showing free VIP access, they said it was a mistake!!! Now me and my friends spent $300 for a room and can't even get into the rooftop bar even if we were willing to pay an additional $200.
