Direct flights to St. Lucia’s George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) and Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) are available from many points throughout the U.S., Canada and the U.K., and are only a 30-minute hop from nearby Barbados.

1) Arrange a car and driver.
2) Vehicle options include BMWs, Range Rovers and Toyota Land Cruisers.
3) In addition to being personally greeted outside of customs by your driver (who will be holding a sign with your name), your air conditioned vehicle includes a cold towel and bottled water.
4) Taxis are readily available. Reservations are not necessary.
5) Major rental-car agencies and local Caribbean operators have branches in St. Lucia.

It is recommended you hire a car and driver to and from the airport and arrange your rental car to be delivered to The Landings. The road is in good condition. However, driving is on the left and the road winds and is narrow. For those who prefer to drive themselves, it's recommended you pick up a map of St Lucia prior to leaving the airport.

1) Turn right out of George F.L. Charles Airport.
2) Approach the round-a-bout by Avis and KFC take a left at round-a-bout.
3) Continue straight though the next round-a-bout located near Gablewood Mall.
4) Notice large billboard advertising new entrance to Gablewood Mall on the left side of round-a-bout.
5) Continue straight as you follows signs towards Gros Islet.
6) Drive under the pedestrian bridge and turn left at large round-a-bout located near the movie theater: Caribbean Cinemas.
7) The theater does not have a neon sign: it is a large building located kitty-corner across the round-a-bout. There is a Rituals Coffee Shop (looks like Starbucks), Dominoes Pizza and Elena's Ice Cream in the same strip center.
8) Immediately after you turn left out of the round-a-bout, notice white sign on the right welcoming you to Gros Islet.
9) Continue straight and follow signs towards Gros Islet.
10) Pass Rodney Bay Village and JQ Charles Mall on the left.
11) Notice several billboards including an electric sign on the right.
12) Rodney Bay Village offers a large collection of shops, restaurants and galleries along the main street. There is a supermarket, KFC, Subway, bookstore, and clothing stores in the JQ Charles Mall.
13) Continue straight and follow the road as it curves a bit to the left.
14) Pass Rodney Bay Marina on the left.
15) Rodney Bay Marina has several restaurants including Cafe Ole, Bosoms, the Bread Basket, and Scuttlebutts.
16) Pass Shell Gas Station on the left.
17) Pass "Furniture Depot" and "Inside and Out", "Sea Island Home and Garden" furniture stores.
18) Look for medium sized white Landings billboard on the right.
19) Take an immediate left after you pass the Landings billboard.
20) Notice a few small billboards at the corner promoting future developments but no specific signage.
21) You are now heading towards The Landings St Lucia, A RockResort and Pigeon Island National Park.
22) The main entrance to The Landings St Lucia is about 400 yards down on the left.

Turn left out of Hewanorra International Airport heading north towards the National Stadium.

1) Continuing along the main highway passing the village of Dennery.
2) This is about the half way point. There is a nice overlook at small refreshment stand on the right side of the road. This is a good place to stop and stretch your legs and overlook the Atlantic Ocean.
3) Continue towards Bexon following onto the Cul-de-Sac Junction.
4) Notice billboard of former St Lucian Prime Minister, Sir John Compton.
5) Turn left from the Cul-de-sac Junction onto the Millennium Highway.
6) Drive straight and pass though three tunnels.
7) Turn right at large round-a-bout following signs into the city of Castries.
8) Notice Virgin Atlantic sign.
9) Drive past the St Lucia Air and Seaport Authority docks on the left.
10) Turn left at first intersection.
11) Notice Shell Gas Station on the right - stay left.
12) Turn Right in front of the Customs Building and pass La Place Carinage (Duty Free Shopping).
13) Turn Left at corner in front of the open air markets
14) The waterfront is on the left.
15) Approach round-a-bout with and continue straight.
16) Notice government buildings on your right. The waterfront is still on left.
17) Veer right in front of all the little billboards as you follow signs towards Vigie/George F.L Charles airport.
18) Continue straight.
19) Approach the round-a-bout by Avis and KFC and continue straight through the round-a-bout.
20) Continue straight though the next round-a-bout located near Gablewood Mall.
