"the front desk is very unorganized and most didnt speak any English, we had to be moved to another room,water on floor in bathroom,by toliet,smelled sewer gas,very run down,so go into another room,a little better, hot water took forever and shower head was spraying everywhere. Rooms need alot of work-updated. Food was terrible, most of the time cold. Bar was very limited on drinks,not a good selection at all. The food and bar staff people were very friendly and willing to help,but the food was was just not very good,and not alot to choose from the bar area. The grounds were kept very nice and the pools and pool area was very nice. Building needed painted very bad,run down. Not enough activities to do for the quests. We had a group of 8 people,and we are very easy to please and get along with,but we findly had to start eating off the property. I would come back to Puerta Vallarta but to another resort. Very disappointed, I run a motel in Florida, this was unacceptable."

"Staff was great except for a few bartenders. So many were so nice and helpful. Poolside bartenders should be friendly, ready to serve whether or not dollars are put in front of them. The first room we were placed in was unacceptable for adults (maybe ok for spring breakers)- the whole hotel needs much renovation and it would be great. The suite we ended up in was great. Food was okay as long as you like Mexican food. There were not many different options of cuisine. Lobby and pool restrooms were not acceptable- missing doors, missing toilet seats, faucets not working well. The pools and grounds were kept very clean by staff. Our experience was great because of the people we traveled with, and the friendly staff !"
