"Very poor all inclusive resort. Had the impression I was in a 3rd world county resort not in a Barcelo resort!!! Will not recommend to stay there unless you like to go to bed at 5pm and speak only Spanish as nobody is willing to speak to you in English. Rooms are outdated. Everything on the resort was closing at 5pm and there was no village or other distraction around so by 7 pm you better be in bed as there is no lights out and no activities passed 5pm. As for the food same thing every night, no willingness to make the customers happy, as you are pretty much stuck in the resort No other resorts around and you are far away from everything else."

"My wife and I enjoyed this resort.We just got back from a two week stay and had a great time.The resort was well kept. They were cleaning all the time. Not like some people said. I don't know what every body was complaning about. Yes the room could use a update but they are not going to gut the building and put new fixtures in just cause the get old. Every thing worked fine. Every day the staff was cleaning and fixing thing. Our keys did not work some time and I went and got new ones,no problem. The maid cleaned andwashed tghe floor every day. Gave us clean sheets and towels. I don't know what else people want. The food was good but was the same just made different every day. Had fish,chicken,beef,and pork to pick fromand some local dishes.Salds and lots of fruit. All kinds of deserts to. If you went hungry that was your own fault. The oppl was cleaned every day and all day long they would clean the leaves out. Every morning a crew world rake the beach and grounds. The only thing that we did not like was on Sat and Sunday the local would come and take over the place. During the week it was nice.So if you are going to do any thing, Do it on the weekend. If you want to see lots of animals this is the place. As for the language some do talk english but not that much. Dont forget you are in a spanish talking country. They try to under stand you. When we were there one of the Barcelo brothers were there inspecting things. When was the last time you were at a resort and one of the main men was there. I fine that pertty good."
